Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Lisa O'Ja has always been drawn to music. The daughter of a musician, she learned early on that music would move her soul in ways that nothing else could. She knew that music was a part of her and she would share her music with the world.  She later went on to attend Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts and The Harbor Conservatory for the Performing Arts and majored in Vocal Music.

    Once she graduated, she joined R&B group FATEFUL and was signed to WB Music Group. She went on to travel to Los Angeles with the group to record and begin her music career.

    She is now embarking on her long awaited solo career and is scheduled for a world tour with Eddie Benitez and Howard Hewett in early February. Stops along the tour include France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, Australia, and Canada.
