My name is Marquell Cotton born in Chicago,Illinois on the south side of Chicago. I attended Myra Bradwell grammer school and  south shore high school. I have four brother and one sister. I am the youngest out of all the kids. I am 25 years old my birthday is august 1,1984.I have two sons. One name is Isaiah Cotton. He is now four years of age,my other son name is Marshawn Cotton,and he is 2 years of age. I started rapping at a young age,just playing around in class freestylin grammer school, not knowing I was any good. It wasn't until high school when i started to write and started to take it seriously. All I use too do all day is freestyle wit my boys in school. I pass through high school to find out my brother Chi Chi and a couple of his friends started a rap group call DropABand. I join the group around 2005 or 06 and we started to make hit after hit and the rest was history. We started recording many songs and also doing many shows from colleges, high schools, clubs etc. Over time we build a ridiculous fan base throughout Chicago that supported us at every show. One day I want to start my on label name fresh money and be one of those people that give artistes a chances to do something wit there music and be heard. I am inspire by hip hop artistes such as T.I,LIL WAYNE,JAY Z,DRA,DMX,FABLOUS,LL COOL J,MICHEAL JACKSON JEZZY,and many more.

Born and raise on the east side of Chicago. Raised into a foster home with
many brothers and sister I had to shine. Reality struck when my father died I had to become something great. Turning to sports I became a great ball player, graduated from
Kennedy High School and went to College. There's  where my life of music began. Being around two brothers that rap day and night I pick up the swag of music very quickly. Always having metaphors and a powerful voice I develop a unique style that I can call my own. Doing talent shows for high schools and even colleges as an artist I develop very quickly. That was soon to end having my first child. I drop out of College and went straight into the military so I could provide for my family. But two years later I was ready for music full time I met a friend from the military a producer and my brother and started DROPABAND.  Starting out we were

in artist development stage where we learned how to write consistently , and come up with catchy hooks. Watching the producer of the group make beats daily I pick up the skill in no time. Now I'm also a producer of the group. During are stage of development one artist went gospel and we pick up another artist and than end up dropping both. Now where ready with dedication, loyalty and respect My brother and I will change the game of music forever.

But it wouldn’t be know D.A.B without inspiration from artistes like Biggie, 2 Pac, Twista,  Young Jeezy, and Rick Ross. Now as one were ready to shock the world with a sound of music they never heard before.
